Albert Henry Lapkin

Albert Henry Lampkin was born July 10, 1956 in Barstow California. He passed in his home
surrounded by family and his dog November 28, 2023 as a result of Alzhimers.
Al was preceded in death by his father Kenneth C. Lampkin and his mother Carlene M.
Lampkin.
He is survived by his siblings Claudia Coleman and spouse Jerry Coleman, Richard Lampkin
and spouse Jackie Lampkin, Bobbie McCue and spouse Norman McCue, Kim Williamson and
spouse Fred Williamson. His step children Daniel Shannon, Calista Maloney, Gerald
Richardson, Tristin Luke and Kylea Traughber. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as great
and great great nieces and nephews.
As a child Al enjoyed working with his hands which led to his passion for motorcycle riding and
his profession as a successful heavy equipment operator. He spent most of his life in Coachella
Valley until choosing to relocate to Oregon to be close to family. He loved being a part of family
gatherings, listening to music and hanging with his dog.
He was a devoted follower of Christ and could often be heard singing his favorite hymns.
He will truly be missed.
Graveside service will be held at Juniper Haven Cemetery on December 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
