Harry was born on August 3, 1924 to Angel A. and Frieda (Rhur) Peterson in Bend, Oregon. He attended school in Bend, graduating from Bend High.
During Harry’s career he worked in management for trucking firms for the most part. He married Vivian Irene Hollenbeck on June 18, 1943 and they had three children; Garry, Sharon and Ernie.
Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, camping with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 72 years Vivian Irene Peterson, his father Angel Peterson, his mother Frieda Peterson and daughter in law Barbara Peterson.
Harry is survived by his 3 children; Garry L. Peterson, Sharon A. Schaedler and Ernie L. Peterson, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
