Howard Fredrick Becker

Howard Fredrick Becker, 69, of Prineville passed away on August 30, 2018. A memorial service will be held at Eastside Church ( 3174 NE  3^rd. St) Prineville, Oregon on Sunday September 16, 2018 at 2pm.

Howard was born on November 22, 1948 to Joseph Howard and Margery Belle Becker. He went to Sweet Home High School and then attended Willamette University, where he studied English.

Howard spent his life as a Police Officer. He worked for Benton County Sheriff’s Dept., Crook County Sheriff’s Dept. and the Prineville Police Dept.  He loved to go Hunting, Fishing and watching Old Movies. His favorite hobby was his family. If it involved spending time with his family, he was always there.

Howard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil and Meril Becker and Ralph and Edda Dannen. His parents, Joseph Howard and Margery Belle Becker.   A brother, Daniel Becker (3/2018) and a sister, Louise Becker ( 1967).

Howard is survived by his sons, Joseph and his wife Kara of Prineville,Or. and Micheal of Bend,Or. His brothers, Richard of Culver,Or.  Harold and his wife Tina of Fall Creek, Or. and Larry and his wife Barbara of Coos Bay, Or. Sister, Kathy and her husband Rick of Baker City, Or. Sister-in-law Judy of Independence, Or.  Howard had a multitude of nieces and nephews. 8 Grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
