Jerry W. Gan, 76, of Prineville passed away on Saturday February 10, 2018 at his home. A private family military burial was held on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 2 pm at the Juniper Haven Cemetery.
Jerry was born on August 18, 1941 to Luna and Dora (Littrel) Gan in Brumely, Missouri. He moved to Prineville at the age of 10 years old. Jerry attended Crook County Schools and after school he enlisted in US Marines where he served from 1958 until 1962. He married Jessee Gose in 1963, they had 3 children and then divorced in 1978. Jerry worked various jobs in the lumber industry from 1963-1969. He then worked at Ochoco Lumber Company from 1969 to 2001 until the mill closure and at that time he retired. In 1994 Jerry and Linda Thomas became companions, they then married in 2002.
Jerry loved and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and remained strong in his faith. He loved his family very much.
He loved hunting, fishing, trap-shooting and relaxing. He enjoyed these hobbies with many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luna and Dora Gan, his sister Nelda Seaton and two nephews
Jerry is survived by his wife Linda, daughters; Tacy (Gary) Stevens, Tiffany Lindsley, son Russell (Mary) Gan, Step-son Gary Nevel, Step-daughter Renissha (David) Bilodeau, sister Lily Stewart, brothers; Roger (Robin) Gan and Cecil Gan, four grandchildren; Tarrick, Tyler, Cameron, Christopher, two great-grandchildren; Eric and Alice, two step-grandchildren; Tiffannie and Tia, three step-great grandchildren; Bailee, Micah, Lainee , several nieces and nephews.
