Judy Lee Smith, 79, of Prineville passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2019. There will be a graveside service held at a later date, to be announced. To offer the family your on-line condolences please go to www.whisperingpinesfuneralhome.com

She was born on April 26, 1940 to Thomas Lester and Irene Mae (Houk) Partin in Redmond, Oregon. She attended Crook County High School, graduating in 1958. Judy went on to become a teacher’s aide.

She loved the outdoors, especially the deer and elk seasons and fishing for salmon. Judy also enjoyed camping and taking day trips to various places in Central Oregon and in the Ochoco National Forest. Judy was known for her great smile and happy disposition.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband’s; Raymond Walter in 1979, Web Smith in 2016, her son’s; Tom Walter in 2013 and Richard Walter in 2014.

She is survived by her son Ken Walter, her sister Joyce (Glenn) Houston, her brother Tom (Diana) Partin and special daughter Patty Walter.
