Les was born on June 15, 1960 to Norman and Florence (Kidd) Wulf in Chicago Illinois. Les loved to be outdoors but he also played bagpipes performing in the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade. As he grew up on the Northwest side of Chicago he loved to hike and explore the woods. He also enjoyed football and the neighborhood activities.
Les began his sales career as a child selling subscriptions to a free publication. The man could sell anything. Les was proud to be referred to as “The Best Salesman I have ever met” and he the challenge. Les treated people with respect and he always kept his word. He was a man of integrity. He was loved and respected by many from coast to coast.
Les earned his Associates Degree in electronics and began to pursue his dream of owning land and keeping animals. He also had a gypsy nature and decided Oregon was the next stop. Les and Lori bought a small farm in Oregon. Les also was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener and he loved raising baby animals from pigs to puppies. He was a very caring man. He is missed by many.
The most important thing to Les, was family he loved his family and friends with a big, kind, open heart and beautiful sincere smile. He was as they say; “larger than life” and the life of the party. He was also “there” if someone needed a hand, a very kind man. We will all miss him.
