Norma Ruth Scott, 69, of Prineville crossed over on January 7, 2018.  A memorial service will be held at the Prineville Elks Lodge #1814 (151 N Main Street) at 2 pm on Saturday March 31, 2018. 

Norma was born on December 5, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was raised by her step father Terry Brenneman Sr. and her mother Lois Ruth (Fischer) Brenneman.  She graduated from Villa Park High School in California 1967 and went on to take some college in the savings and loan Industry receiving a second diploma.

She married Jerry Scott on May 5, 1973 in Carson City, Nevada they were married for 28 years before his crossing over on July 2, 2001. 

Norma was very active, being involved in Elks Lodge and Ladies of Elks at lodge BPOE #1814, past president, serviced in many other offices and 5 time Lady Elk of the year, American Legion Auxiliary #29, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary #4108 she was a life member, past member of the FO Eagles Auxiliary #2555, Viet Nam Vets of America Auxiliary #820 a life time member, and past president and board member of the Villa Frontera Homeowners Association, LOE Holiday Bazaar founder and chairperson and a past member of the Ladies of the Moose #2626.

She enjoyed camping, crafts of all kinds, especially counted cross stitch and sewing.  A lifelong lover of cats, she was a collector of ceramic cat with over 150 figurines.

Norma was preceded in crossing over by her husband Jerry Scott Sr., her stepson Jerry Scott Jr. and her stepfather Terry Brenneman Sr.

She is survived by her mother Lois Oliver, brothers; Ron (Char) Brenneman, Terry (Jane) Brenneman Jr., sister Cheryl  (Mick) De Vries,  stepdaughter Debby (Ken) Scheller, 3 step-grandchildren; Joshua, Jared and Nicole, 3 nephews; Cameron, Jason, Christopher, 2 nieces; Brooke, Lauren and many, many friends.
