Amber L. Bond (Pobanz) passed away July 22, 2023 at her home in Prineville, Or. She was born in Bend, Or on January 30, 1982 to Terry and Vickie Pobanz (Jensen).
Amber grew up in Prineville with a short time spent in Washington. She graduated from Crook County High School. She worked in customer service most of her life until recently when she became a home care worker. She loved her job and helping others.
She started her family in 2000 when she had her first daughter, Joni. She later had her other two daughters Lauren and Nova. Her daughters meant the world to her.
Amber loved listening to music and dancing. You knew a song was a favorite when she’d do her “Amber” dance. She enjoyed being around family and friends, going shooting, camping, going out to the woods or just being outdoors. Amber loved getting her hair and nails done or having a “girl’s day”. If you were going anywhere with Amber, you knew you were either stopping at Friend’s Espresso for a Snickers Ice Rage or stopping for a Pepsi. She liked baking and cooking, especially her spaghetti.
She was preceded in death by her mother Vickie M. Pobanz and several grandparents. Although we are heartbroken, we are comforted knowing she is beside her mom again.
Amber is survived by her daughters Joni Philibert, Lauren Bond, Nova Schwerbel: Sisters, Heidi Jacuinde, Jessica Villagomez: Brother, Antonio Cornelio. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. at Prineville Community Church, 520 NE Elm St. Prineville, Or 97754.
