He was born June 13, 1950 in Burbank, CA to Howard and Mildred Fall.
Carter is survived by his daughter, Brandi Lange (Kirk) of Prineville. Son, Zachary Fall (Amanda) of Toledo. Sister, Peggy Urell (Homer) of Prineville. 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Howard Fall, his mother Mildred Fall, and his brothers Steven Fall and Leonard Bush.
Carter served in the Coast Guard from 1969 to 1973. He worked at Ochoco Feed and Farm for approximately 15 years. Then worked in the rental yard business and ended his working years at O’Reilly Auto Parts as the Commercial Accounts Manager before retiring in 2012.
Carter loved anything to do with the outdoors. He was an avid rifle hunter, archery (long bow) hunter, gun smith, arrow smith, and gun collector.
In his early years Carter was a volunteer firefighter for Crook County Fire and Rescue and a Reserve Officer for Prineville Police Department as well as a Special Deputy for the Crook County Sheriff’s Office. He was a founding member of Crook County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue and retired after 25 years of volunteering. He taught many young hunters through the Oregon Hunters Association, hunters education program. He was a General Ham Radio Operator and loved to talk to people all over the world.
A Celebration of life will be held in the spring.
