Delmore “Del” Donald Everson, 91, of Prineville passed away on Saturday July 1, 2017. At his request there will be no public service
Del was born on December 4, 1925 in Phillips, Wisconsin to Donald and Hattie (Schultz) Everson. He served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946 as a Gunnery Instructor in what was then known as the “War College” of the Pacific. Del married Ann Doll on September 4, 1943. They later divorced and he married
Louise Hethon on July 16, 1959. After the passing of his second wife Louise, he then remarried Ann on March 3, 2000.
Del’s hobbies were hunting, fishing and traveling. He was the past president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, he served on the Prineville Fire Department for 20 years as an ambulance driver, was a charter member and life member of the
B.P.O.E. #1814, 70 year life member of The American Legion Post #29, life member of the V.F.W. #1412 and member of the Eagles Lodge #2555.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Cheryl, one brother Keith, second wife Louise, first and third wife Ann and one son Larry.
Del is survived by two sons; Garry (Jane) Everson of Lancaster, California and Dennis (Frances) Everson of Banks, Oregon and one brother; Myron (Marilyn) Everson of Florida, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
