Delores was born on April 27, 1929 in Redmond, Oregon to Lulu Pearl Miller.  She was raised in Prineville, graduating from Crook County High School.  Delores traveled with her husband, Elliott Casey from Prineville to various saw mill locations.  They divorced in 1964 and she married Hi Cook in Reno, Nevada in September of 1966.  Delores lived all her life in Prineville with the exception on one year she and Hi lived in Clallam Bay, Washington.

She worked as a waitress and cook at many establishments in Prineville.  Delores managed the dining room at the Pioneer Club and the Elks Lodge.  She was a waitress at Kings Café, Jays Café, Maries Café, Casino Café and many others.

Delores loved crafting, crochet, wreath making, card and gift bag making, and more.  She loved making candies and cookies, especially at Christmas time and many of you were likely the recipients of those treats.  She also enjoyed making Chinese pork and sharing too.  Delores loved her family and was extremely proud to be a grandmother, great grandmother but was really tickled to have lived long enough to be a great-great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Hiram “Hi” Cook, son; Ronald James Casey, brothers; David Clark and Clem Clark and sister; Ruby Clark-Walker and one great grandson Parker Casey.

Delores is survived by her sons; Richard Casey of Redmond, Robert (Sue) Casey of Tennessee and Roger (Julie) Casey of Prineville, daughter; Mary Ann (Jerry) Bernard of Prineville, step-daughters; Jeanine (JJ) Ford, Lyla (Lawrie) Irvine and Lenita (Lee) Shapiro,  13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, step great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and her beloved dog; Buddy.
