Diane (Dee) Dorothy (Hantz) Byler, 68, of Prineville passed away on December 19, 2019. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Dee was born in Hammond, Indiana to Charlie Joseph and Dorthea Lillian (Wiens) Hantz. She graduated Hammond Tech High School in 1969.
She like quilting, watching old TV westerns, making gifts for cancer patients and the Crook County Quilt Guild.
Dee was preceded in death by both her parents and her sister Ellen Hantz.
She is survived by her husband Lyle Byler, her son David (Mindi) Oaks, stepson Jason (Hillary) Byler, two brothers; John Hantz and Jimmy Hantz, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
