Donald Richard Byler, 90, of Prineville passed away on February 9, 2019. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Prineville (450 SE Fairview St.) on Saturday March 16, 2019 at 2 pm. Elder Michael Knower will be officiating the service. Donald was born on December 22, 1928 to Marcus and Iva (James) Byler in Glendale, California. He graduated from high school in Wheeling, Missouri in 1946. He was a tool inspector for Lockheed Aircraft Corp. in Burbank, California.
Donald loved wood working, photography and baseball. He had a strong work ethic and a willingness to help others.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Marcus and Iva Byler, wife: Dolly (Arrasmith) Byler, brothers: Will and Robert, and sisters: Mary and Muryl.
Donald is survived by his sons: Lyle (Dee) Byler, Gordon (Elloa) Byler, Roger (Peggy) Byler, Alan (Sandy) Byler and a special friend Gladys Powelson , 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
