Emily Marie Gagermeier of Prineville, Oregon, passed away unexpectedly March10, 2026. Emily was born August 7, 2001, in Prineville, Oregon. She attended elementary school in Prineville before moving to bend in 2011. She graduated from Mountain View High School in 2019 and went on to attend COCC, earning her certification as a Massage Therapist. For the past four years, Emil worked at Slater Chiropractic – with folks she lovingly referred to, as her second family. She truly cherished her work and the people she served.
Emily was a gifted and creative young woman who loved drawing, painting, and making jewelry. In 2015 while attending Pilot Butte Middle School, her art teacher entered one of her drawings into a contest at COCC, where she won top honors. That June, Emely and her grandmother Faith traveled to New York. There she received and Art Award at Carnegie Hall from the Scholastic Art Society – an unforgettable moment that celebrated her remarkable talent.
Emily loved to sing! From a very young age she could often be found standing on a box with a stick for a microphone, singing her heart out. She later sang in her church choir, even performing solos. In recent years, she enjoyed karaoke nights at Sons of Beers. The past couple of years you would find her singing on karaoke nights at Sons of Beers.
Emily seemed to have an old soul. At age 2, you could find her deeply immersed in any number of conversations with folks aged 2-85. Her smile, vibrant soul and heart of gold, touched everyone who knew her. She loved many and will be missed by everyone she graced.
Emily is survived by her father, Kenneth Gagermeier of Prineville, her mother Bridget Wallace of Bend, Sister Karine Gagermeier of Redmond and Patrice Crump of Klamath Falls, Grandmother Faith Duncan of Prineville and Mary Gallagher of Bend, Oregon. Aunt and uncles, Michelle Anderson, Tamy Gallager, Linda Gagermeier and Bob and Kathy Gagermeier. She is also survived by numerous cousins and many wonderful friends.
S Memorial service will be held April 11, 2026, at the Grace Baptist Church, NE 7th Street Prineville Oregon at 1:00pm.
