Helen passed away January 1, 2024 at the age of 94 after a battle with Alzheimer’s.
She leaves behind her daughter, Kathryn Carter (Odie); four grandchildren, Marshall Huston, Gina Corwin, Troy Huston and Tara Huston; and four great-grandchildren.
Helen was born June 19, 1929 to Stephen W Becker and Lottie Briggs Becker of Noti. She was a lifelong resident of Crow, and the West Lane area. The oldest of four children she worked alongside her father to build their first home in Crow. Helen and her three siblings graduated from Crow High School as did her three children.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Carol Clifford Huston and John Lee Huston; as well as two of her siblings.
Helen was active in her community, contributing homemade biscuits and pies and serving at the gatherings and dances held at the Crow Grange hall. She was also a longtime volunteer of the Applegate Pioneer Museum.
