Ina was a great woman, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born on September 3, 1937 in Huntington Park, California to Max E. and Gladys E. (Nicols) Patterson.
She loved living in Panama and Florida. The Ladies Clubs and Garden Clubs wouldn’t be the same without her. Her friends in Quail Run will remember her tenured years as president and her tenacity for her community.
She leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of. Ina was world renowned for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. All who loved her dearly will remember her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love and care for them. She will be sorely missed.
Ina was preceded in death by the love her life, Rutherford Paul Rivet, sister Jane Leitka, brother Alva Allen Patterson and son Theodore Martin DeBoor.
She is survived by her sister, Louella Kulok, her children; Karen and Carl Gernert, Curtiss and Liset Rivet and two step daughters, grandchildren; Chistopher, Katelyn, Kasey, Martin, Paul, Jason, Joshua and Rebecca, her great-grandchildren; Emma, Rylan, Kimberly, Rebecca, Jeremy and Allison.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society through Whispering Pines Funeral Home – 3168 NE 3rd Street – Prineville, Oregon 97754 541-416-9733
