James Willy Ennis, age 87, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2020 he passed peacefully in his sleep. An orphan since the age of six he lived with nine different families throughout his childhood. James went to Brownsville High with his four cousins, who were a logging family.
He married Janet and they had four children, Jim, Jeff, Jenneta, all of Madras and a daughter Joyce of Beaver Creek. In 1970 he married Mya his longtime companion and co -worker, they worked together for fifty years on various Eastern Oregon ranches. James was well known for his hard work and horse training, he enjoyed hunting deer and elk on the ranch and spending time with his children. James had many grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who enjoyed his story telling sessions of his many adventures.
A funeral service will be held at Living Word Christian Center in Mount Vernon, Oregon where he and his wife attended for 25 years, on October 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
