Jean Barbara (Milstead) Maxwell

Jean Barbara Maxwell, 95, of Prineville passed away on Friday December 7, 2018.   A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday December 12, 2018 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at Whispering Pines Funeral Home (3168  NE 3^rd St. Prineville, Oregon). A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 13, 2018 at Missionary Baptist in Mitchell, Oregon (209 SE High Street) at 12:00 pm with a burial to follow at Lower Mitchell Cemetery.  A reception will follow at the church. Jean was a welder during WWII and a housewife.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking and shopping.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents Agnes Purvis and Bob Milstead.  A husband , Don Maxwell and a son, Dwight Schnee.

She is survived by Terry Schnee of Vancouver, Washington,  David Maxwell of Prineville, Oregon , Marla Sells of Tygh Valley, Oregon and Darcee  Morgan of Vancouver, Washington. 18  grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
