Kenneth Roland Reinhart

Kenneth R Reinhart went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2023.  He was born in Bend, Oregon on May 30, 1947 to Rollie and Willmeta Reinhart.

He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970.  He served a tour in Vietnam as a Specialist Deisel Mechanic. He was a forester with the US Forest Service for 34 years on the Fremont and Ochoco National Forests.  He served as a Pre-sale Forester, Timber Sale Administrator and Safety Officer.

He married the love of his life, Denise Denison, at the Powell Butte Community Church on May 3, 1981. It was a sunny day surrounded by family and friends. Denise proceeded him in death.

Ken was a leader at the national and local levels of the National Ski Patrol.  As a member of the volunteer ski patrol at Mount Bachelor where he could be found most weekends, on “The Hill”,  from 1965 to 1990. He was National Ski Patroller of the Year in 1982.  He was also awarded the Patrols Purple Star Award for his life saving actions at Mount Bachelor during a terrible accident by a resort guest.

Kenny also loved to waterski, fish and drive around the country-side.

Graveside Services will be held at 10am on November 18, 2023 at the Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville. Memorial gifts should be directed to either the Band of Brothers or Bowman Museum.
