Lee Glenn Bernard, former Prineville resident, was born on August 29, 1962, to Robert and Mary Lou (Halsey) Bernard. He died on May 17, 2026, at the age of 63.
He attended Crook County schools from 1969 to 1981. He worked as an equipment operator , ranch hand and also did carpentry while living with his long-time partner in life, Sandy Kronour.
His hobbies included woodworking, upholstery, horseback riding, roping and family activities. He was great at helping others, and he helped raise and support his children and his family.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Bernard of Prineville; his partner-in-life, Sandy of Lebanon; children and stepchildren, Corey, Sabrina, Eddie, June, Donna and Chris; and numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many family and friends.
A public graveside service will be held at Juniper Haven Cemetery on June 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. Immediately following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Crooked River Park, on South Main Street, at the north covered area. The event will be held until 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
