Lois Jean McBeth, 77, of Prineville passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday July 29, 2018 at the Prineville Eagle's Lodge at 1:00 PM. Charlie Hughbanks will be officiating.

Lois was born on January 31, 1941 in Corvallis, Oregon to Kenneth and Annie (Bottger) Phelps. She graduated from Philomath High School with honors in 1959 and went on to Oregon State University for one year. Lois was a mill worker and laborer during her working years.

She loved spending time with her family. Her great grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved crabbing, camping, hunting and fishing. Lois loved spending time with her friends, playing cards, attending church and visiting.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, her husband Gene McBeth, two sons; JW and Kenneth McBeth.

She is survived by her son; Honk (Tammy) McBeth, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
