Marie Frances (Lavery) McDonald

Marie Frances McDonald, 64, of Prineville, Oregon passed away on October 19, 2023. She was born Marie Frances Lavery on August 28, 1959 in Sacramento, California.

Marie is survived by her 5 children, Christopher Cy Halverson (Rachel) , Michelle Desiree Ramos (Alfonso), Victoria Nicole White (Randy), Rachel Carrie Avila (Orlando) & Cassandra Elizabeth Ruwaldt (Bryan). Marie was also a grandmother to 11 children and a great grandmother to two.

Marie loved animals (Mariah, her horse, that she owned for over 24 years, and Karina, her beloved chihuahua for 10 years) and cared for them deeply as they weren’t just pets, but family. She enjoyed trips to the beach and loved the ocean.

Marie was known for having all things purple as it was her favorite color, even down to her mascara. 

Marie touched the lives of many and she will always be remembered as the woman who would talk with absolutely anyone and maybe even over share. She was not afraid to be herself and was just as unique as her mannerisms.

A celebration of life will later be scheduled in spring 2024.
