Mark was born on November 20, 1968 in Lakeview, Oregon to Edwin Leroy and Diana Marie (Gerber) Frank. He attended school in Lakeview, graduating from Lakeview High School in 1987. He married Angela Gail Hopper on September 26, 1992 in Lakeview, Oregon. Together they moved to Redmond, Oregon, built a home, grew a beautiful marriage, and had two daughters; Kelly and McKenzie. He was always there for his girls, encouraging and supporting them endlessly in their shared mission to take on the world.
Mark worked as a self-employed business owner and operator of Git-r-done Construction Company in Redmond, Oregon for 27 years. He then bought and operated Deschutes Blind and Shade for the following three. Every day for all 30 years, was the guy who could be caught smiling and waving to people on his way to work. He lived as an absolute light to the entire Central Oregon Community, recognized and loved by everyone who ever met him.
Being around family was always Mark’s favorite hobby, but when he wasn’t doing that he enjoyed his free time in any of the following ways: hunting and fishing, camping, boating, kayaking, skiing, working on home projects, going on pizza date nights with Angie and their friends, chatting with the Daycare Kids, spending time with the Frank family pets; Zoe, Jake, and Boots, or mowing the lawn while listening to classical music (and if that doesn’t depict the most well-rounded man, nothing does).
He is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Frank, his stepfather, William Miles, and his grandparents, Fritz and Nola May Gerber.
Mark is survived by his wife of almost 29 years, Angie Frank of Redmond, Oregon, two daughters; Kelly Frank of Los Angeles, California and Kenzie Frank of New York, New York, son, Josh Frank of Lakeview, Oregon, mother, Diana Miles of Lakeview, Oregon, and two sisters; Fritzi Gipson and Nola Walker, both of Lakeview, Oregon. All of whom love and miss him beyond words.
