Martin William Schmidt

Martin W. Schmidt, 94, of Prineville passed away on Friday December 7, 2018.  A graveside service will be held on Friday December 14, 2018 at 2pm at Juniper Haven Cemetery (N. Main Street) in Prineville, Oregon.

Martin was born on July 10, 1924 to Albert and Esther Schmidt in Appleton, Minnesota. Martin was a construction worker in Portland, Oregon. He enjoyed Machining. Made trains to carry people at the Mollala Train  Park. He made a replica of an Amtrak Train and also made a Steam Train Penn K4.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert, Esther and step mother Martha, brothers; Waldo and Lloyd and a sister, Dorothea Moen.

Martin is survived by his wife Dolores of Prineville, Oregon, a son: Daniel and his wife Cherie of Minneapolis, MN, daughter; Lonnie and her husband Ron of Prineville, Oregon, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
