Norma Evelyn Bruffett, 84, of Prineville passed away on Friday October 26, 2018.  There will be a family gathering in the Spring to celebrate Norma's life.  To light a candle or leave your condolences for the family please go to www.whisperingpinesfuneralhome.com

Norma was born in Foil, Missouri on September 30, 1934 to Fred William and Jessie Ellen (Larson) Pilant. 

Norma married Earl William Bruffett on February 21, 1953 in Yuma, Arizona.  They had three sons; Bruce William, Earl Wade and Danny Dwayne Bruffett.  She worked at COIN Millworks for 20 plus years.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Norma enjoyed  water skiing, fishing, bowling, crocheting, reading, baking, homemaking and watching golf especially watching Tiger Woods.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband Earl William Bruffett, her parents Fred and Jessie (Larson) Pilant,  two brothers; Harvey and Rondo Pilant and one sister, Fran McReynolds.

She is survived by three sons; Bruce William Bruffett of Fairview, Oregon, Earl Wade (Deb) Bruffett of Woodburn, Oregon, Danny Dwayne Bruffett of Prineville, Oregon and one sister, Wanda Bond of Northwood, Ohio, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
