Ron was born in Portland, Oregon on January 20, 1940 to Harold and Florence Marie (Cooper) Bowles. He graduated from Clatskanie High, then joined the US Air Force. Ron worked in the woods while he was growing up and was a heavy crane operator in Kalama, Washington. When he retired, he and Donna managed the Rustler's Roost in Prineville for a couple of years.
He loved hunting, camping, fishing, rides in the woods, being around his family and friends, going to the beach, karaoke, video poker machines. He really enjoyed his coffee. He always had his hands on or in a car, either working, cleaning, or just tinkering with it.
Ron was a Family Man, his family was his life. He always had a smile on his face, joking with whoever came in to his path. He had the biggest heart and would always do anything he could to help out anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Bowles and Florence Ross, and his wife Donna Bowles.
Ron is survived by his son Daniel (Jennifer) Bowles, his daughter Shawna Bowles, his Grandchildren; Hunter Uzeta, Nathan (Katrina) Bowles, Jessica (Erik) Guerrero, Samera (Tim) Shawver, Tommy Ross, Sara Ross, Chance (Lori) Combs, Great-Grandchildren; Kamren Meredith, Aiden Meredith, Madelyn Bowles, Weston Bowles, Gabe Guerrero, Nala Guerrero, Kobe Guerrero, Saige Ross, and Maverick Shawver.
