Shawn James Solar

Shawn James Solar, 44, of Prineville passed away on January 2, 2023.  He was born to Arthur and Karen Nielsen on October 7, 1978 in Carthage New York.  After moving to Prineville Shawn attended Crook County High School.  Shawn was a self employed Handyman.

Shawn is survived by: Karen Nielsen (Mother), Shawna Ballard (Daughter), Joshua Ballard (grandchild), Isabella Ballard (grandchild), Anna Gilbert / Dustin (Daughter), Anthony Gilbert (grandchild), Lillan Gilbert (grandchild), Travis Gilbert (grandchild), Joseph Selbo (Son), Amylinn Selbo (grandchild), Layla Solar ( Sister), Derek Solar / Traci (Brother), Dawn DeGarlais / Robert (Sister), Joseph Pierce (Brother), numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by Arthur Solar.

Shawn is loved by his friends and family and will be greatly missed.
