Stacy Lee Jenkins passed away on May 30, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was 59 years old.
Born in Bend, Oregon to Fred and June Jenkins, she spent her entire life in Prineville and made it her home. Stacy graduated from Crook County High School in 1980.
Stacy was known as being a “Hell of a Cook” she was best known for her Prime Rib, Indian Fry Bread, and Clam Chowder. She always enjoyed cooking meals for others. She worked as a cook at Barr’s Café, Lakeside, and Cinnabar. She also worked at PCC Schlosser and Medisiss in Redmond.
Stacy enjoyed spending time outdoors, long drives, photography, basketball, fishing, and riding quads. She had a love for animals and took great pride in caring for all her four-legged friends. She was funny, quick-witted, and full of fire and sass. She was loved and will be missed by more people than she ever realized.
Surviving family includes her mom, June Jenkins; sister, Laurie Jenkins of Prineville, Aunt Aurice and Uncle Ron Wallace of McMinnville, Uncle Jim Jenkins of Bend, Uncle Neal of Prineville, “Junes Kids” and her four-legged friends Riki, Moses, Sadie.
Preceding Stacy in death is her dad, Fred Jenkins, and Grandparents Stacy and Gladys Kilmer and Jack and Clara Jenkins.
Donations can be made to Crook County High School Girls Basketball team in her honor.
