Thelma Gertrude (Smith) Robertson

Thelma G. Robertson, 96, of Prineville passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2016. A service will on Saturday September 3, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Prineville.  Officiating will be Charlie Hughbanks.

Thelma was born on February 4, 1920 to Lon and Sylvia (Moore) Smith in Prineville, Oregon.  She was member of the Crook County High School class of 1939.  She married Carl Robertson and they had three children. She worked in the Crook County School system and was a bus driver and attendance officer. In the summer she worked at the Prineville Reservoir State Park.

Thelma love to cook, read, sew, watch her children play high school sports, camping, hunting, fishing and to dance especially square dancing.  She belonged to the Prineville Eastern Star for 65 plus years and was a member of the Prineville Eagles Lodge and the Lady Elks.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl Robertson, sister; Goldie Williamson, brothers; Art Smith and Jim Smith, daughter in law Pat Robertson, granddaughter Bobbi Woodward and grandson Jason Robertson.

Thelma is survived by her daughter Betty (Jim) Woodward, sons: Jerry Robertson and Jack Robertson, brother Bob Smith of Livermore, California, Sisters; Hazel Denton of Prineville, Leatha Nooy and Dorothy Conlee of Albany, Oregon, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
