Tresia Sherrin (Begley) Long

Tresia “Sherrin” Long, 77, of Prineville passed away at her home on Sunday December 8, 2019.  There will be a service at the Calvary Baptist Church (2241 N Main Street) on Monday December 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon.  Pastor Joel Dunaway will be officiating.  Following the service there will be a burial at Juniper Haven Cemetery (1555 N Main Street).  All are invited to a luncheon at the Calvary Baptist Church following the burial.  To leave an on line condolence or light a candle for Sherrin please go to www.whisperingpinesfuneralhome.com

Sherrin was born on October 23, 1942 in Kiowa, Oklahoma to Willie Audey and Hazel Emma (Ramey) Begley.  She attended Crook County High School, graduating in 1960.  Her favorite subject was history.

She loved to play the piano.  Sherrin enjoyed baking, playing games and sewing.  Her favorite time of year was Christmas.  Sherrin loved her Lord and Savior and attended Calvary Baptist Church until she became too ill to attend. 

Sherrin was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lee Long, her parents and one great grandson; Gabe Saddler.

She is survived by one son Bill Long, two daughters; Patricia Coffman and Shawna (Elden) Simpson all of  Prineville, three sisters; Ann Laursen of Sisters, Oregon Carolyn (Clark) Hutton of Manteca, California and Pam (Dan) Morton of Prineville and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
