William Johnston Obituary
William Claud Johnston, 88 passed away on Thursday December 10th, at his home in Prineville Oregon. Claud was born on November 24, 1932 in Ravi Oklahoma to Ted Earl and Dorothy Caldonia (Patterson) Johnston, he was the second oldest of 13 children. Claud moved to Gila Bend in 1972 where he worked for the Gila Feed Yard and later for the Arizona Highway Patrol as a Highway Safety Representative until his retirement.
Claud is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, his daughter Audrey, his parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by 3 daughters Kathie Johnston of Prineville Oregon, Carol Schoneck and Rebecca Moses of Casa Grande Arizona, two sons James Johnston of Jamestown New York, Shaun Darr of Buckeye Arizona, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Claud enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors.
No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
