William "Riley" Stock, IV

William "Riley" Stock, IV was born April 16, 1943 in Roseburg, Oregon to William Riley Stock, III and Hazel Schrader Stock. He graduated from Sunset High School in Beaverton and from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science.  Riley graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a Masters in Physics.  He worked fro Tektronix for 37 years as a Research Physicist, Engineering Manager and Strategic Planning Manager.  After retirement, he served on the Crook County School Board.

Riley loved the outdoors; camping, fishing, and hunting, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.  Riley died in Redmond, OR on April 23, 2019 at the age of 76.  He is survived by his wife Vivian of more than 44 years; daughter Victoria (and Richard) Rogers of Boston, MA daughter Anne (and Kelly) Reynolds of Prineville and son Bill (and Gina) Stock, of Bend, OR; and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 3 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Prineville at 450 SE Fairview St.  In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please make a memorial donation in Riley's name to either the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice through Whispering Pines Funeral Home - 3168 NE 3rd Street - Prineville, Oregon  97754   -   541-416-9733
