Vickie M Humphries

Vickie M. Humphries passed away on September 20, 2017 at the age of 79 in Bend, Oregon.

Vickie was born to the late Marie and Clifford Reeves on July 10, 1938 in Longton Kansas.  Vickie later moved to Baker, Oregon where she met her hearts joy Richard A. Humphries.  They married in 1956 and dedicated their lives to raising three children, Autumn, Richard and Merideth. 

Vickie was a beautiful person inside and out.  She was known for her love of music and her lovely operatic voice.  She was skilled in playing the guitar and base and loved to play and sing her favorite songs.  Vickie also loved the lord and the beautiful lands in Oregon.   She was full of energy, always generous and kind to all who were lucky enough to know her.  Vickie was quite a poet too, though she never published her work.

Vickie is now in the hands of the lord she loved along with her beloved husband Richard (Dick), her daughter Autumn, her parents and many loving family members who have gone before her.  She is survived by her brother Clifton and his wife Mary Reeves, her sister Pat Iverson, son Richard C. Humphries and his wife Lisa Humphries, and her daughter Merideth, seven beloved grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and her beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Vickie lived life and loved to the fullest.  We will miss her greatly but celebrate her reunion with her family and Lord in heaven.
